At this very moment, I have the common cold. It started out 2 or 3 days ago. I immediately took some echinacea and it seemed to be a purifier, but it didn't kill the cold entirely.
I went into the medicine cabinet and brought out some of last years left over day time and night time cold caps. I took 2 day time caps. They seem to have dried up most of the symptoms of the cold, but surely there is a cold underneath my usual healthy self.
I did a quick Google search and had some chicken noodle soup. Took my daily multi vite. I also took a teaspoon of colloidal silver every few hours. Supposedly, the silver is supposed to be like the zinc that is in Zycam. The metalic components make it non conducive for the cold bacteria to spread.
I try to roll with the punches of the cold. I nurse it. I feel a little warm in the face. It is like this cold is my new obsession. Work is secondary. If I have the energy to work, I will. If not, this all powerful cold takes precedence.
The person who is a drug addict, their life revolves around them taking drugs.
Whether it be cocaine, oxycodone, heroin, it doesn't matter. What matters is that the user needs to take some dope to satisfy his or her cravings.
The person with a cold, their life revolves around taking any thing and every thing that will make their cold feel better.
Their future activities have to be planned with this cold in mind. Can't plan any social activities, you are sick.
It really changes your values in life. It sorta kinda makes you a minimalist. You don't wanna do any thing to over exert your self. You want to do things that are going to help this cold go away.
Prior to getting the cold, you are very careful to often wash your hands after touching any thing that some one else toughed prior to you. A shopping cart, a hand basket, shaking some ones hand, touching money, all are things that can carry the cold germs. You touch your nose, eyes or face and the cold is impregnated within you. Incubating into all of the symptoms you are currently feeling.
I am thankful my cold is not terribly severe. I make no mistake in awareness though, I am fighting with the devil. This cold is in me and if not for cold caps every 4 hours or so, I would feel terrible.
I am having to ride the wave of this sickness until it is out of my system. From previous experience I know that a stomach virus can keep you bed ridden. You are too sick to eat and too weak to work. That is why the old expression that your health is the number one priority, is correct. With out your health, you got nothing.
On a little side note thing, cold caps dry up all of the liquids in your body, including your sperm. So..... even if you thought of having sex, you may, but you can't cum. The cold caps dried up all your cum, so there is nothing there to shoot. All the more reason why a simple common cold is an all encompassing thing upon your life.
